The next time you find an obscure battery inside a gadget, send us a picture. AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V batteries only (Please no funky-shaped digital camera batteries, car batteries, etc.) Take a nice, sharp picture of it. (If you don’t have a digital camera, you may be able to get good results by placing the battery on a flatbed scanner.)

Then e-mail that picture to this e-mail address. Include a note telling what brand and kind of gadget the battery came with. I’ll post your image in a day or two.
